Sports, Business & Philanthropy Consultant
Kristina
has over 12 years of management experience in the business, sports,
and nonprofit sectors. Currently, Kristina serves as the Executive
Director for GirlVentures, a community based nonprofit with a mission
to empower adolescent girls to develop and express their strengths.
This spring, she and business partner Ann Kletz will be launching
their sports, business, and philanthropy venture, while Kristina
pursues her master’s degree through the Berkeley-Columbia
Executive MBA Program. Kristina discovered her passion for leading
social change through the empowerment of diverse groups of adolescent
girls while volunteering as a mentor for a girl in Bayview-Hunter's
Point for over five years.
Kristina's tenure as a Controller for several companies along with
her supervisory experience at Deloitte and Touche, LLP have given
her a strong background in human and financial management, while
her leadership of GirlVentures and consulting work with SportsBridge
and Team-Up for Youth have sharpened her nonprofit expertise. A
former professional Ironman triathlete, Kristina can be found swimming,
biking and running throughout the Bay Area in her free time. Kristina
has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of
Michigan, Ann Arbor and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant
in California.
