Featured Speaker - Neda Barrie, Executive Vice President, Business Development, Golden State Warriors

In her second stint with the club, Neda Barrie enters her eighth season with the Warriors and her third as the team's executive vice president of business and player development. Her responsibilities include creating new business, events, promotions and programs in an effort to enhance the team's brand, revenue, player development and fan development. Barrie also directs Golden State 's community relations department, working closely with the players in an effort to create positive imaging and community outreach events. In addition, Barrie also oversees the club's ticket services, which are responsible for various programs for season ticket holders and customer service areas. She is also the team's player development director for the NBA, which is responsible for the overall development of the players off the court.

Prior to re-joining the Warriors in January 2002, Barrie spent two years at the NBA league office as the senior manager of community relations. In that position, she assisted with all Western Conference team programs, in addition to the NBA All-Star Game and NBA Finals. She also spent three seasons (1998-2000) with the WNBA's Phoenix Mercury as the director of communications and community relations. Barrie 's sports business career began in the Warriors public relations department, in 1995, where she was promoted to public relations manager in 1998 prior to leaving for Phoenix .

Barrie earned her bachelor's degree in business at San Diego State before earning her masters in Sports Management from St. Mary's in Moraga , CA . A Bay Area native, she currently resides in Pleasant Hill with her husband Sebastian and their one-year-old daughter, Sofia.
